Technical Officer on Health Systems at the WHO Athens Office on Quality of Care and Patient Safety
Dr Nurshaim Tilenbaeva is a Technical Officer on Health Systems at the WHO Athens Office on Quality of Care and Patient Safety. Dr Tilenbaeva’s career spans more than 15 years in international humanitarian and development organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Aga Khan Foundation, and the United Nations World Food Programme. She managed public health programs in quality of care and patient safety, maternal and child health, multi-drug resistant tuberculosis control in penitentiary system, food security, and nutrition.
Currently, Dr Tilenbaeva provides technical coordination and expertise in the development and implementation of Quality of Care and Patient Safety initiatives. She supports Member States in formulating effective strategies and strengthening health system capacities to improve Quality of Care and Patient Safety across the region.
