«Health Policy in the Digital Transformation Era»

01 - 03 December 2026

Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens

Workshops 30.11

You are invited to participate in the leading conference in health economics, health policy and health services research in Greece, with a remarkable impact on the country’s health policies.

Reflecting both international developments in health systems as well as national needs and priorities, the 2026 Panhellenic Congress on Health Economics and Policy entitled “Health Policy in the Digital Transformation Era”, will seek to interpret these challenges and lay the foundations for an updated approach to decision-making. A practice that draws on the type, quality and volume of data now available to design and continuously evaluate policy, with the aim of having a health care system that responds to society’s values and priorities for the future.

The Congress, held in Athens, at Divani Caravel Hotel, from 1 to 3 December 2026, is organised by the Institute for Health Economics (i-hecon) and the Hellenic Society of Health Economics and Policy (EEEOPY) with the support of many renowned scientific bodies.

The Panhellenic Congress—founded and established as the main forum for scientific dialogue on health economics and policy in Greece by Professor John Kyriopoulos—offers an interdisciplinary platform for productive dialogue aimed at developing evidence-based solutions to the major challenges facing the health system, and at jointly shaping the future of the health sector and of social policy more broadly. A wide range of health system stakeholders including, leading health policy and social science academics and researchers, health professionals, patient representatives, health insurance and regulatory agencies, scientific organisations, senior government officials and politicians—from the national as well as the international setting—participate in the conference.
